Avery Fletcher Photography

I am 24 years old and I have lived in Texas most of my life. I graduated West Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Equine Industry and Business. After completing a few photography classes my last semester of college, I decided I wanted to combine my photography with my major. I have grown up my whole life as a horse girl. I finally bought my own horse summer of 2021. He is a 2016 OTTB named Brazos (Brazos Wildcat). When I am not photographing, I am teaching lessons at Switch Willo Stables, reading, riding horses (Hunters or Mounted Archery), or spending time with my friends and family.

I started Avery Fletcher Photography in December of 2021. This is by far the most amazing job I've ever had. I have the opportunity to travel to so many beautiful stables and meet the most amazing riders and their horses. I picked up my first professional DSLR camera about eight and a half years ago as a freshman in high school. I completely fell in love and saved up enough money to purchase my own professional camera during a Black Friday sale that same year. Thank you to everyone that has supported and encouraged me. I have learned so much since I started, and excited to keep improving.

Some of my photo achievements:

Photographing The Land Rover Kentucky Three Day Event for the Plaid Horse Magazine
Coverage for major equine facilities such as Tryon International Equestrian Center, HITS Chicago, The Kentucky Horse Park, Great Southwest Equestrian Center, and Texas Rose Park.
Publishing 3 editions of the Avery Fletcher Photography Magazine
Photographing TOP equine competitors such as Boyd Martin, Doug Payne, Yasmin Ingham, Elizabeth Halliday and so many more.

I love capturing a moment in someone's life that is irreplaceable. You can never experience that again. Photographs quite literally freeze time.
